Disney Trip Information

Nutmeg’s has been accepted into the Disney Imagination Campus, and will be performing in Walt Disney World on October 26, 2025!

  • Dancers wishing to participate in the Disney performance must participate in a Disney eligible Summer program or class, as that is where they will learn their dance for the performance.
  • Disney requires that dancers be 7 years or older to perform.
  • Family and friends are more than welcome to attend the trip, and can take advantage of our group rates as long as they book with our group.
  • Families from the studio that would like to attend, even if they don’t have a
  • performing dancer, are more than welcome to join!
  • All dancers under 18 must have a parent or guardian in their room (it can be a friend’s parent, there just must be at least one guardian per room.) This will be their chaperone for the trip.
  • We will learn all the dances this Summer, and will have a few rehearsals throughout the Summer and Fall to be sure we’re performance ready!
  • The trip dates are October 24-28. Everyone is responsible for booking their own flights and ground transportation to and from the airport/Disney resort.*


Trip Pricing

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Standard room: $210/night (regardless of occupancy, up to 4 people per room)



Total Hotel Cost:

$945 (includes 12.5% room tax per night)


Park Ticket Pricing:

3-Day Park Hopper Pass: $382/person (non-refundable)

*There will be an additional fee for our bus transportation to the backstage area at

Disney Springs. Once we have a count of dancers attending, we can book the bus, and

will let you know the additional amount due. (This payment is non-refundable.)


Payment Due Dates:

Non-refundable deposit of $236.25 (first night’s stay) to reserve your room is due no later than 1/25/25. Please include a list of who will be in your hotel room at this time. Deposits can be paid through cash, check, or Venmo: HeyMeg_Funk The remainder will be broken into 3 additional payments due:

  • 3/25/25
  • 6/25/25
  • 8/15/25


If you need to cancel for any reason: Refunds, minus the non-refundable deposit, are available up to 60 days before the trip. Once we are within 60 days, all payments are non-refundable.


* Please also note - I would LOVE to hold several fundraisers for this trip! Bake sale at the show, car wash, fundraiser nights at local restaurants, and anything else you all can think of! It would be wonderful if we had a few parents who could help to organize a few fundraisers so that our dancers are able to offset some of the cost of this trip. Please let me know if you’d like to help out with this. :)

  • Friends and family attending the trip can take advantage of our discounted rates, but must book with the group

  • As a reminder - dances for our performance will be taught at our Summer Program, so, performers must participate in the Summer Program to perform in Disney World (Summer Intensive and Adult Street Jazz/Hip Hop are the performance eligible programs)

Hi, everyone. Please read all of the information below in regards to ticket sales. If you have any questions, please email me at NutmegsDance@gmail.com, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks so much. ~ Online ticket sales will begin on Monday, April 22 at 10:15 am . There is no limit on how many tickets a family can purchase this year, however, there are no refunds, exchanges, or credits, so please, only purchase what you are certain you would like. ~ All tickets are $16.00 ~ Seating is reserved, so each ticket will have a specific seat. (Just a note to say I often watch from the sound booth in the very back of theauditorium, and the view is awesome, you do not need to be super close to have a really great view.) ~ Due to the East Granby's fire code, there is no standing in the auditorium, at anytime. Everyone that enters the auditorium must have a ticket/seat, thank you for understanding. ~ Handicapped spaces are available. These seats will be marked in purple, rather than red. These spots do not have a chair, they are only for wheel chairs - thank you! ~ When you arrive, you will show your downloaded/printed ticket, or, pull up your digital ticket on a mobile device. We can scan either way.Please be sure you have your correct ticket for the correct performance, i.e. a ticket for the 2:00 pm show will not scan for the 6:00 pm show. ~ There will be no ticket sales at the door. Tickets need to be purchased online. Tickets can be purchased up until 30 minutes into the show. Please let your family and friends know, thank you. ~ Parents are not required to watch all shows from the audience. You may decide to attend 1, or all 3 shows, it is totally your choice. However - please note that parents will need a ticket for any show they plan to watch from the audience. Dancer Show Policies (We realize all kiddos are different, so if you have any concerns about your dancer and what they do during the show, please just reach out to me.) ~ Dancers performing in the show do not need a ticket, unless you would like your young dancer (ages 8 and under) to come sit and watch the show with you after they’ve performed, and have their own seat. (If they sit on your lap, no need for a ticket.) ~ Dancers ages 9 and over will not come out into the audience at all during the show, they will stay back stage for the entire show, and bow with the company at the end of the show. ~ For dancers 8 and younger, there are a few options: ~ If their family is watching the show, they can be picked up backstage after they dance, and go to sit with their family (on a lap, or with a ticket/seat.) If they would like to bow at the end of the show, a family member should get them backstage to line up at least 2 numbers before the last dance. ~ If their family is not watching the show, they may be picked up backstage and brought home when they are done dancing, or, a female parent or guardian can stay backstage with them for the show so that they can bow at the end of the show.
