Lexi Rome Barbeito

trained at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and earned a BFA in Dance from UMass Amherst. Her training includes ballet, modern, pointe, jazz, hip hop, partnering, improvisation, and more, with a strong focus in ballet and modern.

Lexi began teaching at Nutmeg’s Dance & Theatre Company as a junior in high school and has continued working there throughout and after her college training, developing a supportive, encouraging teaching style rooted in technique, alignment, and musicality. After college, Lexi went on to become a certified Pilates instructor in California; further deepening her focus on strength, body awareness, and mindful movement.



Her classes emphasize confidence, artistry, and intelligent movement, helping students build both strong technique and a lasting love for dance.
