Ellie Karabetsos

has been dancing since she was two years old, and trained at Nutmeg’s since she was thirteen! She began teaching at Nutmeg’s in high school, and then went on to receive her Bachelor's in Global Environmental Studies with a Minor in Dance as well as her Master’s in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University. While in college, she continued to dance in and choreograph for Clark’s Dance Society and Hip Hop Collabo, where she served on the executive boards of both clubs and was Co-Director of Dance Society for two years. Ellie also had the opportunity to train at the American College Dance Association through her Dance Minor. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary, and she loves to teach with an emphasis on movement quality and self-expression. Ellie is beyond excited to be returning to Nutmeg’s this year!
