Nutmeg's Dance & Theatre Co. was founded in 2000 with 11 dancers, a teacher, and a dream. Today, we operate in a 2,500 sq. ft. studio and have over 200 boys and girls dancing with us from Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts! Our goal is to provide top notch dance education in a professional, family like environment.

We just want to extend a HUGE thank you to our community of families, dancers, teachers, volunteers, and audience members who all came together and made “A Hollywood Holiday” so special! To our dancers - thank you for your hard work, dedication, grace, and joy! Your energy and joy were truly infectious, and brought smiles to so many! We are so proud of you. We are so grateful to the parents who take the time to make this possible. We know how busy your lives are, and we are so grateful that you made time for this commitment. Thank you. An event like this takes so many hands to pull off, and we all came together to make it happen. It is such a beautiful reminder of just how special our dance family is. And, it wouldn’t be anything without all of YOU! We also want to thank Amy Lafleur, @amylafleurphotography, for her beautiful photography, and for so graciously sharing them with all of us! It's baaaack :-) After a few years' hiatus, our annual Nutmeg's Holiday Party is back! Friday, December 16 5:30-8:30 pm The night will be full of laughter, cheer, yummy food, holiday crafts, and, of course, a whole lot of dancing! (All classes will be invited to share the dances they've been working on so far this year! If anyone prefers not to dance, they are of course welcome to just hang and watch!) If your dancer would like pizza, please Venmo $5/per dancer to HeyMeg_Funk, or, leave $5 in the lockbox in the lobby with a note that says "pizza!" (This is how I will have a count/know how much to order) Please send in before Dec. 12 - thank you! I will provide beverages, and all paper goods. If you would like to bring a snack, app, or dessert to share, that would be much appreciated! All ages are welcome to the party! We recommend dancers 5 and under have a parent or guardian stay with them, as the studio may be very busy. For dancers 6 and older, parents are welcome to stay, or, drop off.
